This dark period in the history of the country of the Soviets left an indelible mark on the fate of the peoples who inhabited the USSR, including the peoples who lived in Kazakhstan. In this regard, the article pays attention to the methodol ogical foundations of the problem of complex research. The solution of this task is facilitated by the fact that the historiography of the study includes a fairly solid list of works by foreign and domestic authors, starting from the beginning of the thirt ies of the last century. The repressive policy, which covered different layers and categories of Soviet society, turned out to be especially bloody in relation to the peasantry. Mass violent collectivization, campaigns for procurement of agricultural produ cts, collection of taxes, no justified one -time payments to the income of the state were accompanied by confiscation of property, shootings, deportations to uninhabited regions of the country. Repressive actions were carried out on the initiative and direct participation of the Bolshevik Party with the involvement of state bodies. Judicial and extrajudicial trials were practiced over those who disagreed with the party line.Downloads
