AS THE TRAGEDY OF DIFFICULT YEARS IS INVESTIGATED IN AKMOLA REGION: TASKS AND KEY ISSUES

Abstract

The article describes the situation of famine that occurred in the 20-30s of the last century in the Ishim -Kokshetau region. This topic has not been studied at a special scientific level. It is known that the territory of t he modern Akmola region after the formation of the Kazakh Autonomous Republic was part of the Akmola, Karaganda, North Kazakhstan, Kokshetau regions. According to sources, many famine -related activities have been implemented in the province over the years. The committee for fa mine relief, orphanages, a special fund, etc. have been opened. At one time, the famous Kazakh poet Magzhan Zhumabayev, a number of public figures wrote about the famine. The little -studied pages of our history related to the Akmola region require further study.
