A. BOKEIKHAN AND THE PROBLEM OF NATIONAL INDEPENDENCE (IN THE CONTEXT OF THE ALASH MOVEMENT)

Abstract

This article examines the development of the idea of national independence in Kazakh society at the beginning of the 20th century as part of the Alash movement. It provides a scholarly analysis of the structural nature of the Alash movement (political party, national autonomy, and system of public administration). The study evaluates the activities and political views of A. Bokeikhan as the foundation of the idea of national statehood.
