Abstract

This article analyzes the role of religious figures in saving the population from famine, which occurred as a result of the implementation of the anti-people program "Little October in Kazakhstan" in 1931-1933. History has never known such a terrible fami ne, and the people's hunger worsened with the implementation of various campaigns against the people. As a result of the adventurist program "Little October in Kazakhstan" in 1925 -1933, the population suffered from mass starvation, half of the population was killed. Also, plans for forced procurement of livestock, meat, grain and many other campaigns were deliberately increased as early as 1931. After people faced starvation and death as a result of forced political and economic campaigns, people not only protested but also resorted to armed uprisings. Among the leaders of popular uprisings are many ishans and mullahs. During the mass famine in our country in those years, religious figures and believers were close to the people, accompanied them as forced refugees and those who fled to other countries, and tirelessly fought for their safety.
